UNLV Internal Medicine Resident Wellness Fund
Behind every white coat is a person navigating the challenges, growth, and unforgettable experiences of residency. Our UNLV Internal Medicine residents spend their days, and many nights, caring for patients throughout Southern Nevada while developing into the physicians our community will depend on for years to come. Residency is incredibly rewarding, but the long hours, demanding schedules, and responsibility of caring for others can make opportunities to reconnect and recharge especially meaningful.
About UNLV Internal Medicine Resident Wellness
Our goal is to raise $10,000 to support resident wellness and camaraderie, with a special focus on providing annual retreats for each of our three residency classes. These retreats give residents something increasingly rare during training: dedicated time together. They are opportunities to strengthen friendships, welcome and support one another, reflect on the residency experience, and simply enjoy being together as a class.
Your support will also help us create smaller moments of connection throughout the year - from an ice cream social after a long week to resident appreciation and other wellness activities that bring our residency family together. Every gift makes a difference and your support creates opportunities for our residents to connect beyond rounds, clinics, and call schedules.
By supporting this Rebel Raiser, alumni, faculty, families, friends, and members of our community are investing directly in the well-being of the physicians who dedicate themselves to caring for our community.
