Entertainment Engineering and Design
Bringing Learning to Life
Preparing Professionals for the Entertainment Industry
The Entertainment Engineering and Design (EED) program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas is a unique interdisciplinary program that combines engineering, design, and technology to prepare students for careers in the entertainment industry.
Through a collaborative curriculum that bridges the College of Fine Arts and the College of Engineering, students develop the technical, creative, and problem-solving skills required to design, build, and operate systems for live entertainment, themed attractions, immersive experiences, and special events.
Emphasizing hands-on learning, industry collaboration, and real-world project experience, the program equips graduates to work across a wide range of disciplines, including show control, automation, audio, lighting, special effects, venue systems, and experiential design.
Donations to EED help prepare students for a discipline that produces the highly technical designs the entertainment industry has come to demand.
