Providing Access to Art in Las Vegas

This is the place where Las Vegas finds inspiration and ideas. This is the institution where our community can experience art exhibitions, creative workshops, live performances, public talks, and other special presentations from Nevada and beyond.

Our Bus to Barrick field trip program has brought thousands of K-12 students to experience museum-quality exhibitions—often for the first time in their lives. UNLV students come here to gain hands-on experience as they prepare for careers in museum practices, arts administration, and other cultural fields.

Our exhibitions reflect the diverse nature of our community. We work to include artists from historically marginalized backgrounds in American art museums. The museum collection of artworks offers researchers and scholars the opportunity to develop a more comprehensive understanding of contemporary art in Southern Nevada.
