About UNLV Mock Trial
The UNLV Mock Trial team develops future trial lawyers through public speaking, critical thinking, professional development, and networking. With over 20 students and five volunteer attorneys, we bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world advocacy. We organize social and outreach events to connect our members with the Las Vegas legal community, fostering valuable relationships and networking opportunities. We have done over 150 hours of outreach work. Additionally, we provide comprehensive support throughout every stage of the trial lawyer journey. This year UNLV Mock Trial has seen a first in the amount of teams we have competing. We currently have 2 travel teams as well as 1 local team that are all dedicated to cultivating their trial advocacy skills and legal knowledge. UNLV Mock Trial is dedicated to supporting local high school Mock Trial teams with the launch of our 2025 summer workshop and already over 150 hours volunteering. We are proud to be advocates for bringing access to the activity that we have grown to enjoy.
