About UNLV Mock Trial
The UNLV Mock Trial team develops future trial lawyers through public speaking, critical thinking, professional development, and networking. With more than 28 dedicated students and two volunteer attorneys, we bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world advocacy. Our organization hosts social and outreach events that connect members with the Las Vegas legal community, fostering valuable relationships and expanding professional networks.
Over the past year, our members have completed more than 500 hours of outreach, including hosting our Summer Workshop, participating in community outreach programs, and volunteering as judges. UNLV Mock Trial has made a significant impact not only on undergraduate students at UNLV but also on the broader community, and with your support, we hope to continue growing that impact.
This year marks an exciting milestone: for the first time in our program’s history, we have three competitive travel teams. Each team is dedicated to developing trial advocacy skills, expanding legal knowledge, and proudly representing UNLV at tournaments across the west coast. As the largest UNLV Mock Trial program to date, we are seeking support to ensure our teams can travel and compete throughout the upcoming season.
